BGM 08-08-2009 –TIME: 3PM – PLACE: MAYTOWER HOTEL KL

It is our bi annual general meeting and this the numbers required to ensure the BGM can continue we need a quorum of more than 420. The number is big and as such we have to do it outside our normal place (bank auditorium) and we are really hoping that we could meet the required target.

We have mobilized out outstation members to come for the BGM and we do not see a reason why our KL members cannot attend this event. A lot of matters need to be tabled during this event and we are pleading to members to make it a point to attend this meeting.

Definitely there is substantial amount of cost involved for conducting this BGM. Thus it will be a waste of money if we could not conduct the BGM because of the quorum.

We wish to inform members that the nomination for election for office bearers for the period 2009 - 2010 has just recently concluded and we are here to announce that the post for main principal office bearers has been concluded. The following are the list of principal office bearers. They have been return unopposed.

       1. President           - Sabri Bakee  
       2. Vice President            - Sivanesan k
      3. Secretary                     - Ng Peng Ho          
       4. Assistant Secretary   - Zubir Balbeer
       5. Treasurer                     - Sanmukam    

For the post of five Executive Council Members there are 11 candidates vying for the post. The secretary will sent the ballot papers soon for this purpose. Please exercise your rights to choose your candidates.       For the candidates, we wish them all the best.
